About Lori

Lori Goldstein has dedicated her life to education, advocacy, and community service. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lori grew up with a passion for learning and a strong commitment to public service. She graduated from Lincoln Senior High School and pursued higher education at Colorado State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation. She later obtained a master’s degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction and a license to serve as a school administrator.

Lori’s 34-year career as an educator in Adams 12 Five Star Schools included roles as a science teacher, special education teacher, and dean at Northglenn High School. She also led the District Twelve Educators Association, advocating for educators and students alike. Lori’s leadership extended to her community, where she served as chair of the Adams County Democrats and is currently the president of the Adams 12 Board of Education.

Lori and her husband, Michael, have called Westminster home for 26 years. They have three children—Shayna, a science teacher; Hannah, an attorney; and David, a student at Northglenn High School.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lori is an avid snowboarder, volunteer instructor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled, and advocate for environmental preservation. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and golfing, finding inspiration in the beauty of the world she strives to protect.

Now running for the Colorado Statehouse, Lori brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving her community.
Her priorities include ensuring high-quality public education, expanding career and technical opportunities, addressing aging infrastructure, and creating equitable access to high-speed internet.
